Tiny Harbor Town

Tiny Harbor Town is comfort food. You build up a little fishing village, arrange shops and docks, keep residents happy, and slowly watch the place grow. There's no failure state to speak of, which is the whole appeal for us on a tired evening.

The systems are light but they interlock nicely — trade routes feed shops, shops attract residents, residents unlock new plots. It's satisfying to optimize once you understand it, and totally fine to ignore and just decorate.

If you want a challenge, look elsewhere. If you want something calming to tinker with, this delivered exactly that for us.
